Kuwait downs three US jets in ‘friendly fire’ incident, crews survived, CENTCOM says

The three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets “were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defences” during “active combat”, CENTCOM said in a statement.

“All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition,” it added.
